Can a rug on old farmhouse boards be cleaned where it lies?
That’s the question we’d expect in Triune. The place was Hardeman’s Crossroads in the early 1800s, then Flemingsburg, before it took its name from Triune Methodist Church on Nolensville Road. Farmhouses still stand out here, and a house like that is more likely to have rugs laid over wood floors than wall-to-wall carpet.
We do area rug cleaning at the customer’s home, on four steps: inspection, pre-treatment, hot water extraction, and optional protector. Tell us what’s under the rug and how old the boards are. Old floors are one of the things we’d want to look at before we wet anything, so we’ll talk that through. Rug age and dye matter too, and some pieces deserve a frank conversation first.
How do a Triune farmhouse and the house next door differ?
By decades, sometimes a lot of them. Farmland here has been divided for new homes on acreage, so a 2000s house with carpeted bedrooms can sit one field over from a farmhouse with rugs on old boards. The newer one wants wall-to-wall carpet cleaning on a 6-to-12-month rhythm. The older one is more often about a sofa, a few chairs and a rug. Our upholstery service handles the furniture in either, and the outbuildings and pastures around both send the same clay indoors.
Triune’s census figure is shared with Arrington across ZIP 37014, where 2% of homes are rented, so most people calling would own what they want cleaned. We don’t name Triune on our service list. Check with us at (629) 207-0276 and we’ll confirm before you clear the room.

Questions from Triune
Will water hurt the old wood floor under a rug in my Triune farmhouse?
It can, which is why Steam Rollerz starts by inspecting the rug and the floor beneath it. Tell us about your Triune boards when you call (629) 207-0276, and we’ll talk through how to keep moisture off them. Our rug process is hot water extraction, so the question is a fair one.
What’s the right way to clean a family heirloom chair in Triune?
Start with inspection, the first step of Steam Rollerz upholstery cleaning, and don’t let a family piece in Triune go straight to hot water extraction. Fabric, age and any earlier repairs change the answer. Send a photo with your free quote request, and we’ll tell you honestly if it’s a job we should take on.
Do you work near Highway 96 in Triune on weekdays?
Steam Rollerz works 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Sunday, so weekdays are open to a Triune caller. Triune isn’t on our named list, though, and that means phoning (629) 207-0276 to confirm the visit and the day. A home near Highway 96 is easy to describe, and a farm drive should be mentioned.
